The Designer: Yngve Ekström (1913-1988) was a Swedish architect, furniture designer and sculptor. He was also a co-founder of manufacturer Swedese. A contributor to the Scandinavian Modernism movement, he is best known for his “Lamino” easy chair designed in 1956.
